Shared Reading Project

Since 1995, the Clerc Center's popular Shared Reading Project (SRP) has been helping to teach parents and caregivers how to read to their deaf and hard of hearing children using American Sign Language. SRP bookbags are offered individually and in group sets.

The Clerc Center also offers a training workshop called Shared Reading Project: Keys to Success Training for Site Coordinators for schools and programs that want to set up a SRP site for families in their area.
