The Hawaii School for the Deaf and the Blind is hosting a Family Learning Vacation on June 15-17, 2018.
This is an opportunity for families with deaf children from different areas of Hawaii to come together to engage, learn about bilingual development, interact with other families with deaf children, and have fun.
Their theme this year will be worked around the four natural elements: Earth, Water, Fire & Air.
Stacy Abrams, training coordinator at the Clerc Center, will be doing a full-day workshop on how families can maximize language acquisition in ASL and English.
